Returning to Juneau in June 2026 gave me another chance to experience a place that continues to draw me back — where mountains rise from the water and wildlife is never far away.

The unforgettable highlight of this trip was encountering orcas and capturing them through my lens. Watching these powerful animals move through the cold Alaskan waters was one of those rare experiences that makes everything else seem to disappear for a moment.

This collection also follows the incredible diversity of Juneau’s coastal wilderness — black bears emerging from the forest, bald eagles watching from above, seals along the shoreline, ducks on the water, and the many other species that thrive where land and sea come together.

Each photograph represents a moment that could never be recreated exactly the same way. For me, that unpredictability is what makes wildlife photography so special — and what keeps calling me back to Alaska.
